Quick-Trigger Western 14 - Angelo Torres art, Russ Heath cover

Quick-Trigger Western #14, 1955 - In the aftermath of a duel, a young cowhand takes the dead man's guns to hone his own skills as a gunfighter. Angelo Torres' drawings seem more hurried than usual. The art appears further confined by a large amount of dialogue and text, especially on the final two pages. Generally, his drawings fall just short of expectations. Frankly, Russ Heath's cover shows more precision and effort. Other artists this issue include Bill Everett and Reed Crandall. This is number 1 of 2 Quick-Trigger Western issues with Torres art and/or covers and number 1 of 1 Quick-Trigger Western issues with Heath art and/or covers.
