Amazing Adventures v3 #5 - Neal Adams art

Amazing Adventures v3 #5 featuring the Inhumans and Black Widow, 1970 - Neal Adams illustrates the Inhumans with a realism starkly different from the first few Jack Kirby issues. Coupled with talented inker Tom Palmer, they create an impressive effort beginning with the stunning splash page of Black Bolt flying toward us to the scenes of Karnak and Gorgon attempting to open an impregnable cylinder. Gene Colan and Bill Everett do a fine job with the Black Widow feature, and portray her more suggestively than usual in this issue. This is number 1 of 5 Amazing Adventures v3 issues with Adams art and/or covers. See today's posts or more Adams or Amazing Adventures issues. Too bad Palmer didn't ink all the Adams issues.
No kidding. I think Tom Palmer was one of the best inkers in the business. His inks on Adams' X-men and Gene Colan's Dr. Strange alone were amazing.
